Funding available to get out the vote – apply by Sept. 7

With the 2024 election on the horizon, the Center for Native American Youth (CNAY) is excited to offer funding to help bring youth civic engagement projects to life, as part of the Democracy is Indigenous (DII) campaign! This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in community and beyond.

What’s the Catch?

To qualify for this funding, Native youth (ages 11-24) must submit a project proposal that includes a Get Out the Vote component. But don’t worry—it’s easier than you think! Simply integrate voter engagement into an activity you’re already planning or something you’re passionate about. Other DII participants have hosted mural competitions celebrating the power of voting, tabled a voter registration booth at a community event and created a digital campaign raising awareness about voting…
