The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg American Health Initiative and Center for American Indian Health are pleased to announce a collaboration to support a new generation of Indigenous public health leaders working with Tribal Nations or agencies serving Indigenous communities through the Bloomberg Fellows Program. The Bloomberg Fellows Program offers a full scholarship for the Master of Public Health (MPH) and a $10,000 stipend, and starting in 2022 will support cohorts of Indigenous scholars each year.
Our goal is to accelerate health and educational equity for American Indian, Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian peoples through recruitment into the Bloomberg Fellows Program.
The approach of the Bloomberg American Health Initiative is to engage with Fellows and collaborating organizations in five focus areas: Addiction and Overdose, Adolescent Health, Environmental Challenges, Obesity and the Food System, and Violence.
We are looking for Indigenous scholars seeking to use the tools of public health to tackle the most pressing issues in their communities. Apply Today!
