BIA Eastern Region accepting one-time Division of Wildland Fire funding requests

Tribal Leaders,

Please see the attached letters for procedural requirements of one-time funding requests for Wildland Fire projects.

The preferred funding mechanism of one-time funding submissions is through a Fire Cooperative Agreement, and depends on the contracts and agreements made between the Bureau and your Tribe. If your Tribe does not have a PL93-638 contracted fire program, a one-time funding request may still be made via the PL93-638 Grants process.
