White House Tribal Consultation on Revised NEPA Regulations

The White House Council on Environmental Quality will be holding consultations on proposed revised NEPA regulations. The proposed rule includes tribal provisions, including ones related to the incorporation of Indigenous Knowledge into environmental reviews, consideration of reserved rights in environmental reviews, and exclusion from NEPA review for certain actions approved by Tribal Nations on tribal trust lands. The consultation session will take place on September 12 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. EDT.
