USET Utility Management: Workforce Development

The USET Office of Environmental Resource Management will partner with Cindy Goodburn Consulting to provide insight and discussion on Utilities Workforce Development. Utility management faces numerous challenges. They must ensure clean and safe drinking water for their community by monitoring and maintaining their equipment systems, workforce, and infrastructure. One of the challenges they face is recruiting and retaining the water and wastewater workforce, as some employees are retiring or seeking other job opportunities. How will utility management tackle the recruitment and retention of the water and wastewater workforce? Three live webinars will address this issue and the importance of developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
