USET OTPH Webinar: Operationalizing Health Equity

The USET Office of Tribal Public Health (OTPH) is excited to announce our first Chronic Disease ECHO Series, available to all USET member Tribal Nations. Each series will feature speakers from diverse cultural backgrounds who will echo the importance of establishing, strengthening, and broadening the reach and impact of effective health promotion and disease prevention programs tailored to Tribal communities. We invite you to join us in this micro-learning series with Tribal Nation staff and community members.

When: January 23, 2025, from 11:00 am-12:00 pm Central/12:00 pm – 1:00 pm Eastern

 Speaker: Ms. Niki Lucht, Epidemiologist, Wood County Health Department

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn strategies & tools for operationalizing health equity.
  • Learn examples of health equity work in a local health department setting
  • Use a tool to include equity in goals.
