This is a hybrid event. In-person attendees are required to confirm that they have received a COVID-19 vaccine.
The following Committees are meeting:
- Health Committee is meeting on Monday, July 18 at 9:00 am – 4:30 pm in Salon D (Agenda)
- Homeland Security and Emergency Services is meeting on Tuesday, July 19 at 8:30 am – 5:00 pm in the Knoxville Room ( Agenda)
- Transportation Committee is meeting on Tuesday, July 19 at 8:30 am – 4:00 pm in Salon D (Agenda)
- Opioid Task Force is meeting on Tuesday, July 19 at 10:00 am – 1:30 pm in the Memphis Room (Agenda)
- BIA Breakout sessions are meeting in Salon A, Salon B, and Salon C at 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (Agenda)
*The Tribal Justice committee will not be attending this meeting. They are participating in a Chief of Police In-Service Training at the BIA office in Nashville, TN for a full day on Tuesday, July 19 and for half a day on Wednesday, July 20.

Transportation is available for a limited number of meeting participants on a first-come, first-served basis. Please sign up at the meeting registration desk. The van will begin making round trips at approximately 5:15 PM, with pickup/dropoff in front of the hotel.

COVID
Confirmation of a COVID-19 vaccination is currently required by all in-person attendees.
If the Davidson County COVID Community Level is high then all participants will be required to wear a mask during the meeting and at the Welcome Reception.
The USET Tribal Epidemiology Center is working with Nashville Metro Public Health Department to provide COVID vaccinations for participants. If you would like to receive your COVID vaccine, please bring your vaccination card to the meeting.
USET is committed to the overall safety and well-being of all of its meeting attendees. Recognizing the ongoing evolving realities of the COVID-19 pandemic, any in-person meeting/event plans will be executed in accordance with recommended public health protocols. As a reminder, the USET Tribal Epidemiology Center (TEC), a recognized public health authority, will ultimately provide USET with guidance and recommendations about any in-person USET meeting/event plans to ensure that our actions are in the best interests of the USET/USET SPF organization, its membership, and meeting attendees. Based on the USET TEC’s decision, it may be required to shift the event from in-person/hybrid to fully virtual and should this action be taken, proper notice will be provided.
