USET Cyber-Incident Action Plan Development Training
September 26 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am CDT
The USET Office of Environmental Resource Management is partnering with West Yost Associates to provide Cyber-Incident Action Plan Development and a Tabletop Exercise to member USET Tribal Nations. This series will consist of six virtual training workshops informed cyber-incident first responders of the available resources, strategies and best practices in mitigating or minimizing the impact of a cyberattack on Tribal Nation critical water and wastewater infrastructure.
This training will help USET member Tribal Nations prepare for cyber-incident response and recovery operations. Attendees will have the opportunity to build a Cyber-Incident Response Plan (CIRP) over the course of the training to supplement existing emergency preparedness plans and resources. The final training will be a virtual table-top exercise in which the attendees will be able to evaluate their CIRP in response to a simulated incident.
