The U.S. Global Change Research Program (USGCRP) seeks Tribal input on the development of the National Nature Assessment. USGCRP is a federal interagency research program charged with informing the Nation’s response to climate and environmental change, including changes to nature and the benefits it provides to society. USGCRP is planning the development of the first National Nature Assessment, which will assess the status, observed trends, and future projections of America’s lands, waters, wildlife, biodiversity, and ecosystems and the benefits they provide, including connections to the economy, public health, equity, climate mitigation and adaptation, and national security.  USGCRP seeks your input on important questions for framing the assessment to make it useful for Tribes and Native communities, and to appropriately consider Indigenous Knowledge.

Feedback can be sent via email to cavery@usgcrp.gov by September 11, 2023.
