U.S. Department of State | Roundtable Discussion for US Engagement at UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues
The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Organization Affairs is having a Roundtable with Representatives of the U.S. Government, U.S. Federally Recognized Tribal Nations, and other U.S. Indigenous Peoples’ Organizations.
The discussion will focus on U.S. government activities during the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (PFII) April 17 – 28, 2023 session. They welcome hearing about Tribal leaders’ and indigenous NGO’s expectations for the session. Please note that due to time limitations they have 30 speaking slots available during this roundtable.
Date: Tuesday, January 17th, 2023
Time: 11:00AM – 12:00 PM ET
Location: The roundtable will be held virtually via WebEx, which has a limit on the number of individuals who can connect, after which individuals will be turned away. An invitation with the specific link for the roundtable will be sent to those who have registered.
