WHAT: SBA’s Elevating Small Business Series Webinar: Celebrating National Native American Heritage Month
In celebration of National Native American Heritage Month, the U.S. Small Business Administration will host a live webinar panel discussion with Jackson Brossy, Assistant Administrator, SBA’s Office of Native American Affairs, and Carrie Hill, founder of Chill Baskets in Akwesasne, N.Y.
The discussion will focus on the importance of financial wellness, creating generational wealth through business ownership, and increasing equity and access to opportunities to help empower and support Native-owned small businesses. The discussion will also center on SBA initiatives and resources that support Native startups seeking to launch and existing small businesses on their entrepreneurial journeys. Providing emerging small businesses with the needed tools to help local economies thrive is a priority of the Biden-Harris Administration and SBA Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman.
