Take part in SAMHSAs Strategic Prevention Technical Assistance Center (SPTAC) webinar as they highlight a program that has successfully integrated Strategic Prevention Framework principles and other evidence-based strategies into culturally rooted practices, advancing their substance misuse prevention initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to expand our shared knowledge of effective substance misuse prevention practices within Tribal communities.

Spotlight Feature: The L.E.A.D. Program (Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion)

Presented by the Red Lake Nation Band of Chippewa Indians, the L.E.A.D. Program is a forward-thinking initiative designed to provide a compassionate alternative to traditional criminal justice methods. By diverting individuals who could benefit from treatment and support away from the legal system and into community-based interventions, the program addresses the root causes of substance misuse and mental health challenges. Through partnerships with law enforcement, behavioral health experts, and local organizations, L.E.A.D. promotes recovery and reduces recidivism with comprehensive, community-centered support.

Join them to celebrate and learn from this innovative program to expand your knowledge, strengthen your community’s prevention initiatives, and discover valuable resources available for your community!
