Public Meeting of the Treasury Tribal Advisory Committee (hybrid)

Please join the Ninth Public Meeting of the Department of the Treasury Tribal Advisory Committee (TTAC) on Wednesday October 26, 2022 from 1 pm – 4 pm hosted by the U.S. Department of the Treasury at the Treasury Building.
During this meeting, TTAC will advise the Secretary of Treasury on issues related to Federal tax issues and policy matters important to Indian Country, elect a Chair and Vice-Chair and appoint subcommittee Chairs and Vice-Chairs, review the TTAC’s Charter and mandate, and report out subcommittee work on the General Welfare Exclusion, Dual Taxation and Tribal Pensions among other tax issues relating to Indians. In addition, the TTAC will hear public comments, identify issues requiring tribal consultation, prioritize policy issues for discussion and action during 2023 and take other actions necessary to fulfill the TTAC’s mandate.
Due to security requirements, only registered attendees will be permitted entry into the Treasury Building. Registration will close at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 21, 2022.
