Last December, Congress approved the doubling of federal funding for the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) program over the coming five years. Effective immediately, funding for Tribes has been doubled – and it will double again by 2027. The Administration for Children and Families has released an invitation to Tribes and urban Indian organizations to apply for grants of up to $1 million/year to administer home visiting programs.
