The USDA APHIS Veterinary Services’ NADPRP program was established in the 2018 Farm Bill to provide funding to States, Tribes, livestock industry organizations, universities, and other eligible entities to support high-value projects focused on improving animal disease prevention, preparedness, and response. Since 2020, NADPRP has provided over $20M in funding to support 121 2-year projects. During the upcoming Tribal webinar, USDA APHIS will provide information about the program and explain how Tribes may apply for NADPRP funding. The webinar will include examples of projects that NADPRP has funded in the past to help stimulate ideas among Tribal partners about how similar projects could be conducted to similar projects to serve Tribal livestock producers, including small-scale and back-yard animal and poultry owners. This webinar will provide attendees with information about the program, the types of projects that NADPRP supports, and detailed information about how to apply for funds. They will also have a question-and-answer session.
