The National Advisory Council on Indian Education (NACIE) is hosting an open virtual meeting on June 29–30, 2023 from 1:00-4:30 p.m. ET daily.

The purpose of this meeting is to convene NACIE to conduct the following business:

• Review bylaws and charter, taking action to establish subcommittees
• Discussion of advice to be provided to the Secretary of Interior and Secretary of Education
• Vote to approve NACIE’s Annual Report to Congress, and
• Discussion with other federal stakeholders (e.g., U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Indian Education (BIE), WHI–NATCU, and U.S. Department of Education, Office of Indian Education (OIE).
