Indigenous ecological knowledge has long sustained and protected the land now known as America. Indigenous people often carry out these practices daily leading grassroots, community efforts for clean-up and conservation.
Join us for our second session on conservation with our moderator, Joel Moffett, and Indigenous leaders, Valerie Nuvayestewa and Margo Robbins, as they discuss vital healing work and how philanthropy can better support Indigenous-led nonprofits and community organizations.
Our curated education sessions of virtual conversations, panels, and speakers represent the diversity of Indian Country and the experiences of Indigenous Peoples. These sessions are designed for NAP members working in philanthropy and will focus on how philanthropy can operate differently to center Indigenous perspectives.
