The National Native Network, administered by the Inter-Tribal Council of Michigan (ITCM), will host a three-part webinar series to reach a variety of state and local health departments around the country to advance health equity and address social determinants of health among American Indian and Alaska Native populations.
The three-part webinar series will include topics on best practices of Community Based Participatory Approaches to working with American Indian and Alaska Native populations, culturally tailored communications for prevention services, and expansion and infrastructure support garnered through the work of the Tribal Vaccine Equity Project.
This webinar series was made possible by funding from the National Network of Public Health Institutes (NNPHI) to support state and local health departments who received the CDC OT21-2103 grant, National Initiative to Address COVID-19 Health Disparities Among Populations at High-Risk and Underserved, Including Racial and Ethnic Minority Populations and Rural Communities.
