Indigenous Peacebuilders Summit

The United States Institute of Peace and their partners are pleased to invite you to join them at the Global Summit of Indigenous Peace Builders scheduled for April 11th and 12th, from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm each day, at the United States Institute of Peace, 2301 Constitution Ave NW, Washington, DC 20037.
The Summit, taking place from April 11-12th, 2024, at the USIP headquarters, will bring together 50 outstanding Indigenous peacebuilders, including women, youth, and elders from seven indigenous socio-cultural regions of the world. Their goal of the summit is for the global Indigenous leaders to come together to document indigenous peace building methods, develop recommendations for inclusion of Indigenous peoples in peace talks and negotiations and launch a global network of indigenous peacebuilders and mediators which will help in prevent, mitigate, and reduce violent conflicts.
