ILTF Town Hall: Economic Development on Alloted Lands

January 24, 2023 @ 7:00 pm CST

Economic Development on Allotted Lands
The basics landowners should know to make their land more productive

There are many barriers in place that make it difficult for Indian landowners to use their lands to benefit their economic ambitions, but it’s not impossible to build a successful business on allotted lands. It’s important for landowners to understand the rules and regulations imposed by the federal government as well as Tribal nations.

Join the Indian Land Tenure Foundation (ILTF) for an Online Town Hall to discuss economic development on individual allotted lands. The town hall will be held at 7 p.m. Central time on Tuesday, Jan. 24. This session will discuss what the legal framework means for business and land transactions as well as taxes generated by economic activity.

There is no cost to take part in the town hall but participants do need to register in advance. Click here to register.
