This training provides Indian tribes, including Native Alaskan villages, and tribally designated housing entities (TDHEs) with specific instructions and guidelines for carrying out the environmental review process according to 24 CFR Part 58: Environmental Review Procedures for Entities Assuming HUD Environmental Responsibilities.

Environmental reviews are required for all HUD-assisted projects or activities and must be completed prior to construction or commitment of any HUD funds.
