HRSA Annual Tribal Consultation

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) will host a Tribal Consultation during the National Indian Health Board’s (NIHB) 2024 National Tribal Health Conference (NTHC) from 10:45 AM – 12:45 PM CT on Monday, May 20, 024, at The Monument in Rapid City, SD.
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), will be conducting a Tribal Consultation on two topics: the agency’s revised Tribal Consultation Policy and the calculation and use of Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) scores. These scores are used by the National Health Service Corps to determine priorities for the assignment of primary care, dental health, and mental health professionals.
HRSA encourages all Tribal Leaders to participate in this timely discussion to help ensure valuable input representing American Indians and Alaska Natives on these important topics.
There is no cost to register for and attend the Annual HRSA Tribal Consultation.
