HHS Region Two Tribal Consultations

The 2022 U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Annual Regional Tribal Consultation sessions will be held virtually and in-person, with written testimony provided to HHS by e-mail.
These sessions are designed for Tribal leaders to have the opportunity to address HHS on how the Department can improve Tribal outreach and coordination, and to discuss programmatic and policy issues and concerns with Tribal Nations.
The consultation sessions will provide Tribal Nations opportunities to focus on regional specific issues with their respective regional HHS counterparts. The sessions also provide an opportunity for Tribal leaders to consult with HHS headquarters leadership on national level issues. Tribal Nations will also have an opportunity to schedule individual one-on-one consultations through their Regional Offices by contacting the individual identified above. Additionally, if Tribes cannot make it to their respective regional consultation or have specific concerns they would like raised, they can submit written testimony to consultation@hhs.gov by Friday, September 2, 2022.
