The Recompete Pilot Program will make focused investments to spur long-term success in communities grappling with years of economic distress. As part of  the Economic Development Administration (EDA)’s place-based economic development approach, the program intends to meet communities where they are by offering flexible grant opportunities to ensure sustainable and equitable economic growth in all pockets of a community.

The Phase 1 NOFO was informed by input received earlier this year in their Request for Information (RFI) and during our Tribal consultation.
