The Department of Transportation is preparing to publish a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) regarding the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and the Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) Programs.

The DBE and ACDBE programs seek to prevent discrimination, and to remedy the continuing effects of past discrimination against small businesses owned and controlled by disadvantaged individuals, in the award of DOT-funded aviation, highway, and transit contracts and airport concession opportunities.

On July 27, 2022, from 1:00 – 3:00pm (Eastern time) we invite you to attend a public meeting on the NPRM for Tribal leaders. At this session, Tribal partners will learn about the DBE and ACDBE Programs and the proposed rule. We will email a link to the NPRM document as soon as it’s published in the Federal Register.
