DOI’s Role in Advancing One Health: Mission, Management, and Authorities
Join us for a panel on the Department of the Interior’s (DOI) role in advancing the One Health initiative. This session will cover the DOI’s mission, vision, and authorities, along with a brief introduction to its Bureaus and Offices (E.g. U.S. National Park Service, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services). We will discuss how the DOI supports the National One Health Framework. Additionally, we will explore invasive species management, highlighting how the National Invasive Species Council’s efforts align with the principles of One Health by addressing the impacts of invasive species on ecosystems, human health, and wildlife.
