WHAT: “Divine Feminine Medicine: A Virtual Discussion”

WHY: Studies have shown Indigenous women are far more likely than non-Indigenous women to experience depression (35.1% vs. 19.3%), anxiety (31.2% vs. 15.9%) and post-traumatic stress disorder (23.8% vs. 4.2%). We hope this discussion will empower women globally. Empowering Indigenous women can increase their involvement in the protection and promotion of their culture, language, and traditions, which can increase diversity and build a stronger nation.

WHO: Each panelist significantly contributes to the collective wellness of Indigenous women globally, whether it’s through art, storytelling, agriculture, music, or years of wisdom from collected oral history.
