This month the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art will be joined by Nikki Bass, Nansemond Tribal Council Member. They will look at selected works of art from Maya Lin: A Study of Water and discuss the work of the Nansemond Indian Nation to rebuild their connection to their ancestral waterway, after centuries of displacement.
