The National Indian Health Board is partnering with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to host a Tribal listening session on long term services and supports (LTSS). We invite Tribal leaders, Tribal technical assistants, Tribal health professionals, and Tribal citizens to attend the session and share recommendations and best practices to improve LTSS in Tribal communities. LTSS are a critical part of the Indian health system for Tribal elders and Tribal citizens with disabilities and/or chronic illness. With limited IHS appropriations to support LTSS, reimbursements from Medicare and Medicaid can help support LTSS in Tribal communities— please join us to share your thoughts and recommendations.
