San Carlos Apache Tribe, which asks if the Indian Health Service must pay “contract support costs” to support the Tribe’s expenditure of income collected from third parties. The Indian Gaming and Tribal Self-Governance Programs at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, the Self-Governance Communication and Education Tribal Consortium, and the Section of Civil Rights and Social Justice of the American Bar Association will discuss the state of Indian self-determination and self-governance law moving forward.
