Social Reinsertion: Managing the fear of leaving home during the pandemic

A global emergency, such as the current COVID 19 pandemic, can affect people on many levels.
Faced with the challenge of resuming ordinary social practices, while there is still a risk of contagion, many people may experience intense fear of leaving their homes, known as "The Cabin Syndrome." Initially, staying at home could be experienced as being “in prison,” however, with the passage of time, it has become for many a refuge that they fear leaving. Faced with this challenge, there are measures that can be taken to reduce this fear without abandoning proper precautionary and personal protection practices.
