BIA Office of Trust Services (OTS), Central Office – Division of Real Estate Services (DRES) provides guidance to real estate services personnel in preparing, reviewing, and processing Fee-to-Trust (FTT) acquisitions of fee or restricted fee lands by the United States for the beneficial use of American Indians and Alaska Natives or federally recognized Tribes. The corresponding Indian Affairs Manual (IAM) chapter, 52 IAM 12: Processing Fee-to-Trust Applications and Proclamations, provides the general authorities and responsibilities, and is the official policy for processing fee-to-trust acquisitions as well as Proclamations.

The Department will host the Indian Affairs Rollout, in coordination with the BIA OTS DRES and the Office of the Solicitor, overview sessions as listed below. Panelists include staff from DRES, SOL, Division of Resource Integration and Services, and the Division of Environmental Services & Cultural Resources Management.
