This training will provide information on how Tribes can leverage Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC). Topics include: planning considerations, how to fund the gap, qualified application plans (QAP), credit reservation, carryover allocation, partners and investors, business components, program rules, income and rent limits, use of tax credits, compliance periods, consequences of noncompliance, homeownership conversion, and post 15-year considerations.
