This year’s Summit is a half-day, in-person event for Tribal Leaders and Urban Indian Organization Leaders to participate in face-to-face discussions with IHS leadership regarding the Health IT Modernization Program. The IHS will provide attendees with updates on the implementation planning process and the enterprise build process. We anticipate robust and meaningful dialogue with Tribal Leaders and Urban Indian Organization Leaders on important Health IT Modernization issues impacting American Indian and Alaska Native communities as a result of this initiative. Space will be made available at the Summit for Tribal Leaders and Urban Indian Organization Leaders to caucus, allowing for the exchange of viewpoints and information sharing.
