CDC, the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) and the HHS Office of Environmental Justice are hosting an Environmental Justice Index listening session on October 27 at 3:00pm ET. The Index provides place-based scores representing the impacts of environmental injustice on local communities across the country to help identify high-risk areas for health impacts. The listening session will provide an opportunity for CDC/ATSDR to hear from Tribal leaders on how best to represent Tribes and Tribal populations in the Index.
