The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is hosting three virtual consultation and engagement sessions on advancing co-stewardship as outlined in Joint Secretarial Order 3403. The purpose of JSO 3403 is to ensure federal lands and waters are managed in a manner that protects the treaty, religious, subsistence, and cultural interests of federally recognized Indian tribes with an emphasis on co-stewardship. The first session will be held on October 3, 2023 at 1:00 pm ET (register here) and the second will be held on October 13 at 3:00 pm ET (register) and the third will be held on October 17, 2023 at 32:00 pm ET (register here).
