CDC is refreshing its Framework for Program Evaluation in Public Health in honor of its upcoming 25^th anniversary. CDC needs input from intended user groups about what aspect of this framework have worked well and what may need adjusting so it can be refreshed in a manner that continues to serve the evaluation and public health field. Recognizing that the applicability and utility of this framework may differ across contexts, CDC is hosting a listening session on February 22, 2023 from 2:30-4:00PM ET to hear from individuals who are familiar with planning and conducting evaluations with American Indian or Alaska Native communities.

Representatives of CDC’s Program Performance and Evaluation Office will open the session with a brief overview of the effort to refresh this framework and participants will move into two breakout rooms to share their experiences with and input on this framework. One breakout room will include evaluators who are from or conduct evaluations with American Indian or Alaska Native communities. The second room will include project officers, evaluators, and other representatives of CDC and other federal agencies who work with individuals who engage in evaluation with American Indian or Alaska Native communities.
