The Department of Agriculture (USDA) is going to hold a consultation with tribal leaders at 1:00 p.m. EST on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, that will focus on collecting input on rule revisions in the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR), Special Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), Child Nutrition Programs (CNP), and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). According to USDA’s Dear Tribal Leader Letter, this session will “focus on the [Food and Nutrition Service] rulemaking process”.
