Who should attend? The intended audience for this webinar is Tribal environmental health specialist, environmental technician, environmental engineers, health educators and CHRs, and Tribal public health professionals.
The National Indian Health Board (NIHB) invites you to the fifth webinar of the Free Enhancing Tribal Environmental Health Programs Engagement in COVID-19 Response Webinar Series.
The virus that causes COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) is found in the feces of individuals who have COVID-19, including asymptomatic and pre-symptomatic individuals. This means that wastewater testing can be used as an early-warning detection system for the virus in your Tribal community. Join us as we discuss how environmental monitoring of wastewater (regularly testing sewage) can help track COVID-19 and prevent its spread in your community.
