The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service’s (APHIS) Office of National Tribal Liaison (ONTL) would like to inform Tribal entities of a pending proposal to establish standards for the humane care and handling of birds covered under the Animal Welfare Act (AWA).  APHIS would like to invite you to participate in a Tribal Consultation Webinar for the new bird regulations being held on November 4, 2021 from 1:00-3:00 EDT where the proposed change will be discussedin more detail.
