The purpose of the USET TEC Immunization Program is to provide ongoing support to I/T/U officials to help prevent vaccine preventable disease occurrence within the Nashville Area AI/AN population.

The USET TEC team in collaboration with IHS Nashville Area staff:

 Assist I/T/U officials with immunization coverage evaluation
 Assist I/T/U officials in responding to vaccine-preventable disease outbreaks
 Provide training/technical assistance on the RPMS Immunization Package
 Assist with Tribal, State, and National immunization official relationships
 Help resolve immunization coverage issues
 Disseminate immunization coverage reports and other important information
 Assist IHS and I/T/U officials with the implementation of the State Immunization Information System (SIIS) Immunization Data Exchange between State Registries and the Indian Health Service’s Resource Patient Management Software (RPMS)
