IHS Guidelines for Care of Adults with Prediabetes and/or the Metabolic Syndrome in Clinical Settings
The Indian Health Service (IHS) Division of Diabetes Treatment and Prevention and Area Diabetes Consultants have developed these clinical guidelines for adults with Pre-diabetes and/or the Metabolic Syndrome. The purpose of these guidelines is to help provide consistent quality care to adults with Pre-diabetes and the Metabolic Syndrome and to prevent diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
